Best Year 2015 - New Video and UK single!

Written about Callaghan’s arrival in the US, "Best Year" is brimming with optimism, perfectly capturing Callaghan’s wide-eyed excitement at moving across the pond to follow her dream.

The video energetically documents 4 years of shows, recording, handwork and fun across 46 states of the USA.

Best Year 2015 is available on pre-order on UK iTunes now, and officially releases on February 15.

A History Of Now - Available at Live shows!

Callaghan’s new album is now available at Live Shows only.

A History of Now was recorded in Nashville and produced by Dennis Matkosky; the  songwriting legend behind hits such as Keith Urban’s You’ll Think of Me, Leann Rimes‘ I Need You, and Maniac from the film Flashdance.

The 12 song collection was funded thanks to the overwhelming support of Callaghan’s fans through pledge music. You can preview 3 of the new songs on the player on this page.

Callaghan kicks off a busy session of touring on January 10th with her annual birthday show at Eddie Owen’s Red Clay Music Foundry near Atlanta. Over the coming weeks her tour will take her to Florida, Missouri, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Oregon with new UK dates to be announced soon! For full tour details please click here.

A History of Now will get it’s full release on both sides of the pond on April!

Callaghan on BBC TV

Bob Harris: My Nashville
(BBC Four, Friday 14th November, 10pm)

In the programme Bob Harris explains how Nashville became Music City USA and explores the city. As part of the show the BBC filmed a special house concert at Beth Nielsen Chapman’s house.
There are a whole range of fantastic musicians featured including Beth, Callaghan, Jason Isbell, John Fullbright and more, performing or giving interviews.
Once that show is finished, at 11pm, you can hit the Red Button and watch Back to Beth’s to see the whole, uninterrupted house show where Callaghan performs her song "When You Loved Me".

For more details, visit the BBC Website page.

New video for "Who Would I Be"

‘Who Would I Be’ is the first song I recorded for my new studio album. It’s a song about the people, places and values that make you who you are. This black and white video was recorded in a derelict pipe factory in Nashville. It features just a few of the people and places who have made me who I am. See if you can spot them!

If you like it I would love you to share it on Facebook or Twitter and help me spread the word!

Callaghan Corner-to-Corner

Following the success of last year’s Callaghan Across America tour Callaghan has set herself another house show challenge in May.

Last year she gigged her way across the USA from Boston to San Francisco. This year fans are opening up their homes from Key West to Seattle and Callaghan will play 20 shows from corner to corner.

Callaghan's Story

Parachute - Live

"A 12-track set infused with folk, pop, rock and country influences and, above all, immediate hooks"

"She's one of those performers whose genuine sweetness is transparent in her voice and it shines through her writing...Life in Full Colour is joyful listening"
- Huffington Post

“There are some voices that are capable of transporting listeners to another place and Callaghan’s effortless, sweet sounding, lilting, silvery vocals take you to a sun-drenched private beach with a warm breeze where worries are a thing of the past.”
- PA Music Scene

"Life In Full Colour by Callaghan proves that this Brit has been listening to her Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow records. ...Girl can write. Girl can sing. Girl can play piano. Girl has captured my heart. Callaghan, oh Callaghan, sing me back home"
Aquarian Weekly

"...clean, clear pop that, if you listen closely, you can detect hints of country in there somewhere. Callaghan, who has lived in Atlanta the last few years, has a bright, beautiful voice, and her songwriting is solid"
Aspen Times

"Callaghan shines brightly throughout her songs about love, despair, longing and loss. Her impressive vocal range provides endless emotional resonance to the melodic songs tinged with a little folk, a little pop and a little country"
Entertainment Realm

"Blessed with a beautifully sweet and soothing voice, a strong knack for pretty and harmonic melodies, and a firm grasp of smart and thoughtful songwriting, UK-bred singer/songwriter Callaghan comes through with a terrifically radiant and engaging winner on her sunny and appealing country pop debut album. ...a lovely warmth and purity of spirit shines throughout. A wonderful album"
- Jersey Beat

"Callaghan’s gorgeous voice is unmistakably her own, but has been compared to other songstresses, the likes of Sarah McLachlan and Norah Jones – with her eclectic Americana/Pop sound, she stands out as a gem in the rough. ...Callaghan’s songs pull at the listener’s heartstrings as she opens herself up and shares with her audience love, loss, heartbreak and everything in between – she truly is a talented performer, who is also grounded in the moment"
