Well I never thought it was possible but the snow has come to Hotlanta this week. In a similar situation to what happens in London, it seems most things have come to a grinding halt because of the cold weather. Although yesterday I joined lots of people all sledging in Piedmont Park on various improvised sledges. Definitely an amusing sight to see a whole family hurling themselves down the hill on a full sized air mattress!
If you've had enough of the cold weather, there is something great fun happening this weekend in Florida that you should check out. The 30A Songwriters' Festival is taking place this weekend from 14th-16th Jan. I'll be performing a few gigs along with some other fantastic artists over the weekend.
This time last week I was running through song choices for my debut performance at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
I was enjoying listening to the other songwriters so much I didn’t notice the hours flying by and almost forgot I was there to perform when Lari introduced me to the audience.
Between them these writers had written so many amazing songs...READ MORE

Callaghan's chart campaignI am launching a campaign to get into the UK Top 40 this November and need your help!
I am releasing my new single “Look Around” on October 26th on iTunes UK
It might seem a crazy idea to some people, but last year the average number of singles sold to get into the Top 40 was only 2,500 – not many I think you’d agree?
So even though I have no manager, no record label, and no PR budget, I think with your help this can be achieved.
I think it will send out a really strong message that the public can decide who is successful – not just Simon Cowell!
This campaign really is about shaking up the industry and seeing what one unsigned artist can achieve – I am therefore donating all proceeds from the single to music charity Live Music Now.
I am encouraging people to sign up to my mailing list to pledge their support and in return I will send them a free download of my version of the song “Over the rainbow”.
Then all I need you to do is spend 79p of your hard earned cash on the week of 26th October to help me achieve this goal. If I sell over 2,500 downloads you might just see me in the Top 40 on 2nd November!!
If there is anyone you know who might be interested signing up to the campaign, please feel more than free to pass on the message!
Thanks for your support
